Home Shaman Reading Setting Higher Self Readings Testimonials

The setting for the Shaman Reading is a huge cavern buried deep inside of the mountains.

Liz, a petite Shaman with very long black hair, welcomes you into the reading by taking your hands in hers, which of course is the start of your energy work. People always react to being brought inside of a reading...whether happy, nervous, excited, etc., and to this Liz brings her wonderful calming touch.

You are then led to a table that looks much like a massage table, except it is made of stone or mineral, depending on the person receiving the reading. When I received this work my table was always made of crystal quartz or amethyst. You will lie down on the table, whereupon either Liz or the head Shaman will begin their energy work.

It is always exciting when the head Shaman enters the reading. He comes from the back of the cavern and stops when he reaches your left shoulder so that I can look into his eyes and describe what I see. It never fails to take my breath away as I see the decidedly intense Shaman presence in his eyes. I call him the head Shaman because he stands behind your head and works on the areas above the shoulders, and he is also the one who conducts your psychic reading. Quite often the throat, third eye and crown chakras are his main concern, but quite often he clears and heals the ears and eyes, because they retain words and sights that need to be cleared...especially from our childhoods.

The side Shamans usually come in a few minutes after the head Shaman starts his work. I call them the side Shamans because they literally stand at your sides near your waist. They begin their energy work by projecting energy from their palms into yours. Sometimes they work on the solar plexus or hip area, whatever is needed in that section. The side Shamans are Native Americans dressed in what I would call mild ceremonial attire. Once in a while they talk about the energy they are working with, but most of the talking is from the head Shaman.

The energy work that is done on you is always explained in detail, not only what the energy is accomplishing but also what it stems from, whether in this life or another Quite often there are other Shaman Guides who come in, depending on who is receiving the reading, and what is happening within it. Childhood is one of the popular issues in the readings I do, and if there is a child that needs to be either released or conversed with, another Shaman typically comes in just for the sole purpose of the child. The head Shaman and side Shamans are almost always in these readings, but depending on the reading we can see an entire cavern full!

As your Shaman reading progresses you will feel the most amazing sense of calmness, of letting go, of relaxation in its most complete sense. People often are amazed at the level of relaxation they accomplish within this setting. But is that not the prime ingredient in healing…being relaxed enough to let it happen?

The average Shaman reading is between an hour and an hour and a half. When the Shamans are finished they simply pull the reading, just like that! There are no goodbyes or warnings at all. They simply come in, do their work, and then leave.
